I have never been able to get this Ted talk out of my head. It is always such a simple thing, and so strange that as a culture in America we are always trying to reinvent the process to create something "easier"or "more efficient" Can anything be more efficient than nature? And if it was, wouldn't it naturally replace what wasn't? Food For Thought. (in best David Caruso voice)

Passing up the Shopping Trip
All my life I have always loved a good find. Part of being an artist and just generally enjoying self expression through stuff is a 2nd nature. Yet if you pause it is a cultural nature that demands expression and this is manipulated into consumerism which can then be packaged as disposable. How can you be a passionate and evolving person without the constant accumlation of stuff? not easily. Breaking the cycle might start at appreciating and reinventing what you have. When it is time to let go, let go clearing the decks for the new is much healthier than collecting the newest must have. Sometimes life happens and pure inspiration comes in strange places and the Universe offers trophies (rewards) for a job well done, if you feel you are worthy than trust in the Gift.
